From the desk of Mr. Monk

I like big stats and I cannot lie…

I’ve been looking at my Google Reader trends after deleting some old stagnant rubbish. This post details what I have learnt about myself.

I read 24 articles a day. If you want me to read your article, you’d be making a sensible choice by publishing it on a Monday. It seems that most people want to post their item on a Thursday though. Whatever you do, don’t post your article on a Sunday. I don’t appear to do Sunday’s. Now if you’re really particular you’d know that posting articles at 7pm would give you the maximum Nathan Monk coverage whilst I have never read anything at 3, 5, 6, or 7 am. I think there’s probably a good reason for that little fact!

I’m more likely to pass on information from sources that don’t post much, but when they do it’s really good quality material. You have a 0.013% chance that I will like what you have to say and a 0.00016% chance that I will tell someone about what you have written. I’m a tough crowd.

On the bright side, I am a very good subscriber. I always read every post that you make. I guess I’m a little OCD with ‘unread’ counters.

(All statistics are based on an average.)

From the desk of Mr. Monk I'm a twenty-something creative type. This is my online journal in which I collect and share links, images, thoughts and sometimes reflect on current work.
