From the desk of Mr. Monk

So here is the draft of Mark Me. The identity is just a placeholder for now, and I’m working on some ideas for a super colabo!

I had a lot of fun with the footer. It’s perfect to use in the future, so again, what’s there is a cute little placeholder. However I used this opportunity to put my CSS3 text shadow skills into action! It’s meant to look like gold type set into a dark grey cloth.

There’s a rating system for posts which help to decide the winner of challenges, and comments are powered by Disqus. I’m still amazed at how easy these were to implement and are to use. Disqus is great because you dont need an account, but you can sign in using twitter, disqus or openid.

I’ve also just learnt a lot about web stats. So I decided to try out some Google campaign links. I want to see how that pans out and it was a nice opportunity to do some internal linking to my other sites.
